.জন্মঃ - ১৯৪০ সালের ২রা ফেব্রুয়ারি পিরোজপুর জেলার সাইদখালী গ্রামে জন্ম গ্রহন করেন।
পিতার নামঃ ইউসুফ সাঈদী যিনি একজন স্বনাধন্য ইসলামী পণ্ডিত বা আলেম ছিলেন।
মায়ের নামঃ-গুলনাহার বেগম।

আল্লামা সাইদীর সন্তানঃ-
চার ছেলে- মরহুম রফিক সাইদী, শামীম সাইদী, মাসুদ সাইদী এবং নাসিম সাইদী।

শিক্ষা জীবনঃ - পিতার প্রতিষ্ঠিত মাদ্রাসায় প্রাথমিক শিক্ষা জীবন সমাপ্ত করেন।পরে তিনি খুলনা আলিয়া মাদ্রাসায় কিছুদিন এবং পরে ১৯৬২ সালে ছারছিনা আলিয়া মাদ্রাসা থেকে কামিল পাশ করেন।কামিল পাশ করার পর বিভিন্ন ভাষা,ধর্ম,বিজ্ঞান ,রাজনীতি,অর্থনীতি,পররাষ্ট্রনীত
ি,মনোবিজ্ঞান ও বিভিন্ন তত্তের উপর দীর্ঘ ৫ বছর অধ্যায়ন করেন ।

দায়ী ইলাল্লাহঃ - ১৯৬৭ সাল থেকে তিনি নিজেকে “দায়িইলাল্লাহ” হিসেবে আত্মনিয়োগ করেন । মাওলানা দেলোয়ার হোসাইন সাইদী পৃথিবীর অর্ধশতেরও বেশি দেশে আমন্ত্রিত হয়ে ইসলামের সু-মহান আদর্শ মানুষের কাছে তুলে ধরেছেন।দেশে তাঁর ৫০ বছরের ইসলাম প্রচারের নমুনা দেখুন সংক্ষেপে—
ক. চট্টগ্রাম প্যারেডগ্রাউন্ড ময়দানে প্রতি বছর ৫ দিন করে টানা ২৯বছর।পবিত্র কাবাশরীফের সম্মানিত ইমাম এ মাহফিলে দু’বার প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন।
খ. খুলনা সার্কিট হাউজ ময়দান সহ শহরের বিভিন্ন মাঠে প্রতি বছর ২ দিন করে ৩৮ বছর
গ. সিলেট সরকারী আলীয়া মাদ্রাসা মাঠে প্রতি বছর ৩ দিন করে টানা ৩৩ বছর
ঘ. রাজশাহী সরকারী মাদ্রাসা মাঠে প্রতি বছর ৩ দিন করে এক টানা ৩৫ বছর
ঙ. বগুড়া শহরে প্রতি বছর ২দিন করে এক টানা ২৫ বছর
চ. ঢাকা কমলাপুর রেলওয়ে ময়দান ও পল্টন ময়দানে প্রতি বছর ৩ দিন করে এক টানা ৩৪ বছর।
ছ. কুমিল্লা কেন্দ্রীয় ঈদগাহ ময়দানে তিনদিন ব্যাপী তাফসীর মাহফিল করেছে প্রায় ৩১ বছর।

রাজনৈতিক জীবনঃ -১৯৭৯ সালে জামায়াতের সাধারণ সমর্থক হিসেবে যোগদান করেন। ১৯৮৯ সালে জামায়াতের মজলিসে শুরার সদস্য হিসেবে নির্বাচিত হন।সর্বশেষ বর্তমানে তিনি জামায়াতে ইসলামীর নায়েবে আমীর দ্বায়িত্ব পালন করছেন।

আন্তর্জাতিক_অঙ্গনেঃ -
ক. ১৯৭৬ সাল থেকে সৌদি আমন্ত্রনে রাজকীয় মেহমান হিসেবে তিনি হজ্জব্রত পালন করে আসছেন। ১৯৯০ সাল থেকে ২০০৮ সাল পর্যন্ত প্রতি বছর রমজান মাস মক্কা মদীনায় থাকা রুটিন হয়ে গিয়েছিল তাঁর।
খ. ১৯৮২ সালে ইমাম খমিনির আমন্ত্রনে ইরানের প্রথম বিপ্লব বার্ষিকী উজ্জাপন উপলক্ষে তিনি তেহরান সফর করেন । ১৯৯১ সালে সৌদি বাদশার আমন্ত্রনে কুয়েত – ইরাক যুদ্ধের মিমাংসা বৈঠকে তিনি যোগদান করেন । ১৯৯১ সালে ইসলামী সারকেল অফ নর্থ অ্যামেরিকা তাকে “আল্লামা”খেতাবে ভূষিত করেন ।
গ. ১৯৯৩ সালে নিউইয়ার্কে জাতিসঙ্ঘের সামনে অ্যামেরিকান মুসলিম ডে প্যারেড সম্মেলনে মাওলানা দেলোয়ার হোসাইন সাইদিকে “গ্র্যান্ডমার্শাল “পদক দেয়া হয় ।দুবাই সরকারের আমন্ত্রনে ২০০০ সালের ৮ই ডিসেম্বর আরব আমিরাতে ৫০,০০০ হাজারেরও বেশি শ্রোতার সামনে তিনি কোরআনের তাফসির পেশ করেন ।
ঘ. লন্ডন মুসলিম সেন্টারের উদ্ভধনি অনুষ্ঠানে কাবা শরিফের সম্মানিত ইমাম “শায়েখ আব্দুর রাহমান আস সুদাইসির” সাথে মাওলানা সাঈদি ও আমন্ত্রিত হন । মাওলানা সাঈদীর হাতে হাত রেখে ছয় শতাধিক অমুসলিম ইসলামের সুমহান আদর্শে দিক্ষিত হন ।

২য় গ্রেফতারঃ ২৮ জুন ২০১০! এখন কথিত যুদ্ধাপরাধ মামলায় মৃত্যু দন্ড এবং আপিলে যাবজ্জীবন জেল হওয়ায় তিনি জেল খানায় বর্তমান। তাকে ভালবেসে তার অবৈধ রায়কে কেন্দ্রকরে আন্দোলন ও প্রতিবাদ মিছিল করতে গিয়ে প্রায় ১৫০এরও বেসি বাংলাদেশি বনি আদম শহিদ হন, তাদের রুহের মাগফেরাত কামনা করি। আমিন।

# Born: - Born on 2nd February 1940 in Saidkhali village of Pirojpur district.
Father's name: Yusuf Sayedee who was a renowned Islamic scholar.
Mother's name: Gulnahar Begum.

Four sons - the late Rafiq Saidi, Shamim Saidi, Masud Saidi and Nasim Saidi.

#Education_Life: - He completed his primary education in the madrasa established by his father. Later he passed Kamil in Khulna Alia Madrasa for some time and later in 1972 he passed Kamil from Charchina Alia Madrasa.
He studied psychology and various theories for 5 long years.

#Dai_Illah: - Since 1986, he has dedicated himself as "Daii Allah". Maulana Delwar Hossain Saidi has been invited to more than 50 countries of the world and has presented the great ideals of Islam to the people. See a sample of his 50 years of preaching Islam in the country.
A. Chittagong Parade Ground Maidan for 5 days every year for 29 consecutive years. Honorable Imam of Holy Kabash Sharif was present as the chief guest twice in this mahfil.

C. Sylhet Government Alia Madrasa ground for 3 consecutive days every year for 33 years
D. Rajshahi Government Madrasa ground for 3 consecutive days every year for 35 consecutive years
E. In Bogra city 2 days every year for 25 consecutive years
F. Dhaka Kamalapur Railway Maidan and Paltan Maidan 3 days a year for 34 consecutive years.
G. Comilla Central Eidgah Maidan has held a three-day Tafsir Mahfil for almost 31 years.

#Political_Life: Joined Jamaat in 1989 as a general supporter. He was elected as a member of the Shura in the Jamaat-e-Islami Majlis in 1989. Most recently, he is the Naib Ameer of the Jamaat-e-Islami.

A. He has been performing Hajj as a royal guest at the invitation of Saudi Arabia since 1986. From 1990 to 2006, the month of Ramadan became his routine in Mecca and Medina every year.
B. In 1972, at the invitation of Imam Khamenei, he visited Tehran to mark the anniversary of Iran's first revolution. In 1991, at the invitation of the King of Saudi Arabia, he attended a meeting to resolve the Kuwait-Iraq war. In 1991, the Islamic Circle of North America awarded him the title "Allama."
C. Maulana Delwar Hossain Saidi was awarded the "Grand Marshal" medal at the American Muslim Day Parade in front of the United Nations in New York in 1993. At the invitation of the Dubai government, he presented the Qur'anic exegesis to more than 50,000 listeners in the UAE on December 7, 2000.
D. Maulana Sayedee was also invited to the inauguration ceremony of the London Muslim Center along with the respected Imam of Kaaba Sharif "Shaykh Abdur Rahman As Sudaisir". More than six hundred non-Muslims were immersed in the noble ideals of Islam by holding hands with Maulana Sayedee.
